Mercy College signs a proclamation for slavery and human trafficking prevention and awareness month.

Yesterday, the entire college community, along with special guests from the community, attended Mercy College’s 8th Annual Human Trafficking Proclamation Signing Ceremony. For the past eight years, during “Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention and Awareness Month”, Mercy College has led the way among all Iowa colleges and universities in committing itself to eradicating this evil of enslavement which has no place in our state, community and on our campus. A copy our college’s official 2026 Proclamation Against HumanTrafficking and Slavery document, signed by Dr. Henry, is available for viewing on the Human Trafficking Resource table in the Sullivan Center atrium.
